We are excited to announce our newest acquisition of South Park Shopping Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Located along Lexington’s premier retail corridor, Nicholasville Road and Lexington’s inner belt highway, New Circle Road, the property is irreplaceably positioned in a market with extremely high barriers to entry. The property is adjacent to the State’s largest shopping mall, Fayette Mall, and The Summit at Fritz Farm, Birmingham-based Bayer Properties newest lifestyle center.
Current Tenants in the center include Best Buy, Bed Bath & Beyond, Value City Furniture, Ulta, and Office Depot. The center has a vacant 43,400 square foot Toys “R” Us, making way for a new Tenant or Tenants to expand or relocate into the center. The site also has five acres of additional development land available for lease. The center was purchased from Kimco Realty, a Real Estate Investment Trust, who owned and operated the property for over two decades. South Park Shopping Center was their only property within the state.
